Details:
DeltaV System Test Engineer is needed for a long term contract gig with our Austin client.

The successful candidate's responsibilities include:
Execution and automation of daily smoke and performance tests on PC based and embedded operating systems
Use of automated test tools
Maintenance of test scripts for automated tools
Troubleshooting of product and automation problems and isolation of defects with product development team
The testing scope covers both software implementation and system usability

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or Engineering
Past experiance with DeltaV
Good understanding of PLC or DCS control systems application and usability (any industry application is fine) is required
Software development and/or testing experience is required (Visual Basic, HTML, web apps, etc. are acceptable)

Foundation Fieldbus, Hart are a plus
Scripting languages is strongly desired
